Cora Backpack - Deep Teal

I bought this bag to be more visible at night while riding a bicycle and I love the color in the light. Also love the pattern and color of the inner lining. The attached photos show the bag in natural light in a lit room vs a LED flashlight shining on the bag in the dark. I got caught in the rain riding home and the bag kept the contents dry.

However, there are a few quirks that may just be my issues. I prefer to keep my water bottle in the outside pocket, but the drawstring side pockets don't feel deep enough to secure my water bottle. It falls out if the bag tips over and a larger water bottle will make the backpack tip over. The circular key clip is a little difficult to use because it's hard to find the clip piece. Personally, I'd prefer to have the key clip and leash in the front pocket because I use a FOB and if it's in the front pocket then I don't need to take it out to scan. The adjustable straps are on the long side and fly around when I'm riding a bicycle. I'm also only 5'-2" and wear my backpacks higher so a taller person may not have the same issue.

Overall, this bag is functional and fulfills the purpose I purchased it for. I also get a lot of complements on this backpack at the gym. If there were a mini and a full size backpack in Magic Flash I'd buy them all. If there were also a sling in this material, I'd buy one too.

Love the water resistance and all the pockets and LOVE a the color with the subtle rainbows and sparkles. So fun! I use it as a diaper bag, and the pockets are great for organizing. The bottom is great for clothes and spare shoes, and the yoga mat straps are great for hanging shoes when going to the beach and all kinds of other odds and ends like lunch boxes. I would love to see a Popflex lunch box that could attach under the bag on the yoga straps!

I love this bag so much. This fabric is amazing and needs to be put in all bag styles. I would love to see this with a bag style similar to the Kavu rope sling but with Cassey's spin on it. She has the best ideas when it comes to her clothes and bags. I can't wait to use this.

I bought the Cora backpack in flash magic during the Labor Day sale. It was an impulse purchase and I am so glad I bought it!
I understand from a business perspective why the bag may be so expensive, but regardless the price is really the only true downside.

A few things to note. Despite the backpack being on the smaller size (compared to most standard backpacks) it easily fit my laptop, a few books, my wallet, my journal and other random belonging. The side pockets are not deep enough for a standard insulated water bottle that most people now have (or at least a standard 24-30oz water bottle) but could probably fit a small store bought plastic one. I use them for other things instead (phone, accessories, etc). The shoulder straps are not nearly as cushioned as I was expecting. Though I guess I am comparing them to my llbean cordura work backpack. Also the bottom compartment expands about two inches into the main compartment when being used.

Regardless, the things I love about this bag outweigh the things I listed above! The bag is super soft and of course the flash magic is so cool. I love how it has a more neutral grey color, then surprises you when the light hits it. I'm also so in love with the inside design, it's so beautiful. There are SO MANY POCKETS. you literally have a spot for everything. Even though I can't fit my water bottle in the side pocket, it easily fits in the straps inside the bag. It also nice and light weight, it was only kind of heavy once I had a lot of thing in it (laptop, books).

Despite the price, I am giving this backpack five stars. If you are able to afford it during a sale get it immediately, you will not regret it! I gave the Ella duffle four stars due to price and the bottom compartment and am regretting giving it the down rating. The expensive pricing is the only true downside to any of the POPFLEX bags. In a way I understand though, the company needs to make a profit so they can keep creating things we ask for! Thank you Cassey and the poplfex team!

This is the second Cora Bag that I own and I love the rainbow effect it has. The texture is obviously not as smooth as the usual material, but it is also slightly lighter.

I love this backpack. It's my everyday gym bag. It's made of a very soft neoprene material and has enough space to fit everything I need. I don't like the yoga mat straps functionality as they are hard to adjust and don't look great if you decide to not put a mat there. Also keep in mind the zipper can come undone if you carry a lot of stuff and you have it zipped at the top. If you zip it to one side you'll be all good!
