Zip Cloud Hoodie - White

Received my cloud cardigan this week and have been living in it ever since! It’s very cute and comfy. Two minor problems though: it’s the perfect cardigan to wear going to and coming from the gym, but not to wear while actually doing a workout. Due to the weight of the hood and the cropped model, it shifts upward very much when doing anything on the floor or fast movements, which makes it impractical (but I get warmed up too quickly to wear a cardi during the heat of the workout anyway). Second problem is that the end of the string isn’t made correctly on one side (see picture). It does not bother me enough to go through international returning and tax systems, but it sure is annoying for an item this expensive…

Such a beautiful hoody, and comfortable, the style is as great as it looks on the models. After wearing it a while I got it dry cleaned (the label says dry clean only), but sadly after only one wash the colour has started to fade slightly and the softness is gone. It's not too bad, but this was after only one wash so I'm not sure it will last all that long I'm afraid. If you buy, take care of it and don't wash often.

I got the chestnut color in xxs/xs.

Color: Beware, the jacket color looks nothing like the model photos and that’s the biggest disappointing factor. I took these photos in natural window lighting. I was really hoping it would be closer to the photos (more chocolate-like.)

Inner material: maybe my expectations were set too high but I really thought it would be super soft, especially when it’s described as “marshmallow soft” and “luxurious softness.” If you watch my video, it’s not as teddy-like compared to the video they have up. It’s super thin and almost feels like a felt fabric cloth from a craft store.

Lastly the zipper just feels super cheap. It’s just plastic dipped in silver paint. It feels like those plastic coins a kid would play with.

The fit is really nice though with the right cropped bagginess to it. I’m 5’4” and weigh 105 pounds. I think I would have preferred the small size for a slightly baggier look.

Overall I really want to love it but ugh. Can’t get over the fact that it feels like the jacket is nothing like what’s pictured or described.

Tip- I’d recommend ironing or steaming before wearing outside. It came in super wrinkly.

The fabric is lovely! And the hoodie is very flattering on me. I am 67kg and 163cm tall. I have very broad shoulders, which I’m very conscious about. But this looks so flattering and I don’t notice my shoulders. Which is a big thing for me. Really in love!

I found this jacket to be pretty nonfunctional due to one thing: the extra large hood. It is SO heavy that any sort of movement will gradually cause it to pull the front of the jacket up and well above my bellybutton (which I tried to show in pic). Sometimes it pulls it so far that the zipper touches my neck, even when zipped only halfway up. I also think it looks awkward when it's all the way zipped up, like the fit is too baggy and the fabric too stiff to sit flatter against my chest. With the hood up and the jacket fully zipped, i was actually pretty cold and felt like the bagginess was somehow allowing too much wind to flow in through the neckline. I love style but I also love function, especially for something that's supposed to keep me warm and cozy.

I will be exchanging for the Pullover Cloud Hoodie, which people seemed to have less hood issues with, according to reviews. I am also going to size down to an XXS/XS.
