Storybook Crop - Black

I'm sooo happy this fit. I have a hard time with bra crop tops since I have to size up for the cup size, but this material is compressive enough that it fits correctly around the waist. I would have to wear a sports bra with it to workout in, but it's supportive enough for casual wear without one. If you are between sizes or carry weight in your stomach, I would recommend sizing up unless you like a tight fit.

I was disappointed that this top ran small. I had my boyfriend help me pull it on my body because it was kind of snug. Which is disappointing given that I am a true medium to large size. I thought this was a body positive brand but the clothing said otherwise. I don’t have a big bust but yet the size large top I got barely kept my chest in and I had a lot of side fat spilling out!

I am normally a s/m in tops and around a 36C so based off reviews I ordered a medium. I like to have some coverage but also some compression and it seemed the medium would be a safe choice as I’m almost never a large. However, It is so so so small everything is spilling out so bad it’s basically unwearable in public. I wanted to like this so much but not only amd I having spillage but it’s practically cutting off my circulation?? If you’re planning on buying this order a size up even if you think it’ll be too big.

These bras definitely run small! It seems like the newer collections have focused on being cute rather than functional - especially for those of us with larger chests. I'm a 38D and would appreciate a size chart for these new collections becuase since Terrain it's all seemed really hit or miss. I got an XL which is my usual top size, and this was still small. The cup area in particular is very short and tight which just isn't functional as a sports bra. I was happy to see that this collection had thicker straps, because the thin straps from other recent pieces just haven't worked. But the small cup sizing made these pieces unwearable. I am wary of sizing up to a 1X because I find that while those cups and straps are usually built to be more supportive, the waistband ends up being too large. These are sadly going to be returned. Please make a more supportive bra for midsize people!
