I was very skeptical to try a onesie to be honest. My measurements are 30 - 27 - 38, 5’6”, and 145lbs. I purchased a medium, but was toying with possible getting a large. Being I am smaller on the top than on the bottom, I opted for the medium. Medium was still a gamble for me because, the thing with onesies or rompers, they have to slid over the hips. As you can see, my hips are wide. The verdict: I’m shocked with how well this fits my body! It was a little compressive on the legs, but it was easy to pull over my hips and over my shoulders. I am in love with the mesh and the stitch detailing around the bust. And I love the open back because I get to show off my back. The straps don’t fall off my shoulders.
There are some cons. First: the material will collect any pet hair in your home easily. I already have 1/2 a cat on my legs. Not the end of the world, but it should be mentioned. Second: the stitching that is below the waist hits at an awkward spot on my body right above the pubic bone. I know Cassey is trying to accentuate the butt area with the “V booty seam” and this connects to the weird stitching in the front. Third: bra pads immediately upon trying on slipped around. I already removed them. I cannot say this enough: no more removable bra pads! I think majority of the customers can agree with me on this.
Final thoughts: it’s a great onesie. I’m glad I took the dive and got the medium as the large would have slipped off my shoulders. I think I am going to try out some other styles Cassey has released. I give this one 4.5/5 stars.
I was super excited to wear my very first onesie for workout and it fits perfectly except the top part that I felt like the straps were too short and pinching my shoulders so I had to adjust it constantly. Maybe adjustable straps or stretchier fabric might be a good idea to fit all types of body? Also, I found that the fabric attracts lint and it was hard to remove them even with lint roller, not sure how to fix it. Otherwise I love the colour and design, hopefully Popflex will come up with a better version of this as I really want to find the best fit onesie that I can wear all the time.
Its very comfy, perfect fit, the only disadvantage if you have a fluffy kid, the hair easily sticks on it...
The outfit itself is so cute when it’s on! The stretch was everything it was promised and such a flattering design for all body types. As a plus sized girl- I ordered a 1X and it was a bit awkward to put on at first, and got a small hole nicked in the mesh side with just my pinky- I don’t have nails that are long or sharp, so just something to be mindful of when putting it on! The other awkward part of this onesie are those weird cups that were put in for your boobs. Unfortunately they always seem to move around and get all awkward inside. I just wish they were maybe fastened in rather than feeling like a bikini top. But still so cute. Hopefully there will be a more convenient way to support popflex as Canadians as we are getting FX and duties 💀💀
