It's not just the inconvenient invisible side zipper (that got stuck and seemed impossible to zip up). This romper has a bit of an awkward cut: the middle of it has a horizontal line that makes short torsos look even shorter.
As for positives, It's soft and stretchy, true-to-size, and my fat ass didn't spill out.
I'd skip out on this one, though. Wait for version 2.

I ordered this for my 21st birthday outfit since I wanted to go out and have fun but not sacrifice my dancing because of fear of flashing people. I got a size 4 and it is a tad snug but not uncomfortable. I love how it fits and my gals are kept in place, even while crazy dancing! I love that the material is thick and comfortable!
I read the reviews before splurging on this and I agree with everyone else, the one thing that needs to be improved is the zipper. It took my older brother's strength to zip it up over the seam. Definitely could not do that on my own. It is a little flimsy and I wish there was a clasp on the top of it to help the whole process. But besides the zipper, I love this and I can't wait to wear it all the time!
This black romper is super cute (especially the criss-cross straps on the back!) and I love the pockets! The material is thick, and the shorts are actually really wide, almost like a flared dress. The only thing that sucks is that zipper is a pain in the ass. The zipper gets stuck and I'm afraid it will break. I think it would have been better for the zipper to be placed on the back, which would also make it easier to get into the romper due to the criss-cross straps. Right now I have to shove my legs in and then awkwardly turn to the side to be my head in the right spot. Also, the cut on the side of the chest could use a little more coverage (I'm a 36B), but I notice almost all the popflex bras and tops are like that, so maybe it's just not the most flattering style for my body type. Im 130lbs and 5'2 and a size 6 fit perfectly!
It is an okay romper. The zipper is super tough and I'm sure it will break. Is a bit loose around the middle and the extra fabric around the legs is heavy. Its not as flattering as I hoped, but is okay for running to the store or errands.
This romper is PERFECT!
I walk to work on sweaty days and I love that it wicks sweat and still looks cute. The black is super classy and the fabric has stayed perfectly smooth (no pilling) through the wash.
The zipper is a typical fashion dress zipper, so I agree with the other reviews that’s it’s not quite strong enough for a super snug fit. I was in between the 6 and the 8 so I opted for the 8 and have no issues zipping it. The cut is so flattering (not gonna be baggy) that I’d recommend trying a size up if you have trouble with the zipper.
The pockets are deep and the skirt still flares well (doesn’t droop) with an iPhone in the pocket.
I have a bubble butt and the flare is just right (doesn’t stick or poof weirdly like some can). I think the cut of the skirt would be flattering for a lot of folks!
The skirt is wide enough that yes, you can pull it all the way to the side to do your business. ;)
And yet the gusset between the legs always stays perfectly placed to prevent chafing.
I love the built in bra pads too. My bra size is technically 36AA (also why I have an easier time with the zipper) so stuff like this is great.
I don’t usually remember to write reviews, but I actually logged on today to buy it in the pink too.
I would LOVE just a skirt/skort like this as well. And more colors! :)
