Starry Night Bottle - 40 oz

This is a gorgeous bottle and i love how it’s black. But the horrible smell inside is the worst thing every. Happened in another bottle i got too. I use vinegar and lemon eo to get the smell out. But what gives? Trying to kill us before we get healthy.

I really love the pattern of this water bottle. I drink exclusively out of triple insulated metal water bottles with silicon straws. In comparison to my other water bottles this one is not as great. The size of this bottle is wider so it doesn't fit in a standard cup holder. It does not have the same level of insulation as an ecovessel bottle so it doesn't keep my water cold as long. Finally even after several trio through the dishwater the straw tastes like plastic. I'm really disappointed as it tastes nasty so I've stopped using the bottle.

Received this bottle as a gift and I am obsessed!! Keeps my water cold and is so cute! I am a plain jane so I love the black but the stars give it a little flair which I LOVE!!

Love these products BUT I’m surprised so few reviews comment on the fact that the lid cannot be properly cleaned. The plastic mouthpiece is not removable and mold grows in the hinge joint between it and the plastic lid. I force-pulled off the mouthpiece which distorted the lid enough to separate them but now there is a false track and the plastic piece toggles.

These products are adorable but this is a huuuge water bottle design flaw. I studied the lid and there is literally no way to separate the pieces without breaking it. I bet most people just don’t look that closely and the mold goes unnoticed.

I’d give it more stars if not for the fact that it was basically a waste of money now that I’ve discovered the flaw. Cassey, you’re the best but please correct this cap issue!!!

I was SO excited to get this bottle 1) because it's gorgeous and 2) I really wanted to support the brand. However after multiple hand washes, including letting the top/straw soak in soapy water, the cover/straw still leaches a terrible smell (and who knows what chemicals!) into the water, so it's undrinkable. From other reviews it looks like I'm not the only person with this problem. Very disappointing, I'm going to try to return.
