Mockneck Shruggie - Daylight Heather Grey

As a dancer, I love cropped hoodies and pullover to wear above my bra, so I don't get too hot while dancing. The material is so soft and feels expensive and comfy.

I was on the fence about getting this shruggie, it's a little bit of a splurge and was worried if it would be practical. I ended up getting it because it seemed like a nice piece to make strappy dresses more modest and fall compatible if nothing else. Turns out I shouldn't have worried!! It's more versatile than I thought, and as a person who gets hot flashes randomly it's easy to slip the arms off and on.

Overall the shrug is really well made and I love the pleating on the sleeves. I will say that since there is not pull from a garment around your waist that the sleeves are a bit puffier on this one than the other long sleeved garments. I love that! Except the sleeves were just 1" too short and they looked a bit odd, like you could tell it was not my size length-wise. But! I am 6 feet tall! This is in no way a problem with the garment. I love that the Daylight Heather Gray is consistent like a capsule color, so I can coordinate across designs and years to extend the life of my pieces! Thank you Cassey! <3

I’ve wanted the mockneck shruggie in navy since it dropped. I finally splurged in it recently and I LOVE it! I haven’t worn it out yet because it’s been so warm here, and I felt too warm just trying it on. But it is very comfortable, looks so cute, and is very versatile for many styles. My only complaint is that the neck hole is too small. With just a little more head room it would be perfect. I’m 5’4”, a size 6, and I bought the S/M.

I got the S/M. I'm 5'11" (180cm). My measurements are 34-28-41 for reference. But my arm length is 25in/63cm. I'm usually a medium but the arm length is what I was worried about with a smaller/in-between size, even with it being oversized. The fit is perfect at rest, with my arms at my sides. I've washed it once and can still pull the sleeve over my wrist, but not over my knuckles. With my arms raised over head, the sleeves do pull down to expose some wrist. But overall, I find the fit of this piece to be more lean, fit, romantic and makes me feel so richly feminine. If I had to order again, I would consider a L/XL in the same color (love the Cocoa Rose) only to have unquestionably covered arms.

Also, the neck is rather tight to pop your head through (especially if your hair is thick/in a ponytail) but manageable. I've gotten compliments on this and I love to wear it to color my sports bra at the gym!

I bought the black in a s/m first, and it is great because the cleavage is visible but the arms are too short when you lift them up. I bought the l/xl in this cocoa rose and the arms are a perfect length BUT the cleavage is covered more because it's a little bigger. I'm obsessed with both sizes and colors!!
