Needed a size up.

I ordered a few things to try, and I have to mirror some other reviews that state the sizing isn't truly consistent across the board.

According to the size chart, I am a 1x bottom, but the model shown wearing 1x has much small measurements thanmyself AND the size chart. I took a chance anyway, as a bigger size was sold out, and unfortunately these were too snug.
I will say, they felt lovely, and had generous stretch, but they didn't fit with room in the hips like the model shows. They were much more snug all the way around.

I did expect them to be snug in the waist, as I am 7 months pregnant, but my hip measurement has only changed by 2 inches and I ordered this size based on that change.

I ordered the tone bra and crossover waist booty shorts as well and both were a fail in sizing, compared to the size chart...

My measurements are 49" bust, 39" waist (non pregnant) and 49" hip. Current waist is 47" (Photos).

I will say that in all my reading of reviews and the size information, it seems like all of the models are at the smallest end of the size range for the size they are wearing, OR wearing a size that is bigger than they would wear in comparison to the size chart - which may be an indication of how to best select your size. Overall, wish there was more sizes available in the plus range (always sold out) and that models above a small 1x were shown on the website, styled, so you could see true fit.

All the models are gorgeous, but they tend to appear mid-size in their proportions and body shape and I would love to see more plus sized representation in the 2x-3x category.

Really weird fit, felt way too big

I really wanted to like these as I’ve purchased from Popflex multiple times in the past. However these just weren’t it for me. I put them on and they just felt enormous on me. I’m a solid small according to the size chart (waist: 28”; hips: 35”) but I definitely would’ve sized down to XS. The legs flare out a lot and the crotch area bunched up a lot and was just overall uncomfortable. I did see the fit tip in the description, but I just didn’t think “comfy oversized fit” meant I can fit two legs in each pant hole haha. I will say, I like the feeling of the fabric and the pockets are lovely, but the fit is just not it for me.

I really like the shorts, especially when I want to wearing something but it isn’t as warm as the sweatpants or as compressing as the leggings/workout shorts. My only issue is that while the shorts are comfortable, the way they lay has much to be desired. The length in the back could be a tad bit longer and the way they flare outward could brought in some.
