So I bought the onesie the first time it was out and based on my experiences with the onesie, I would not recommend it for big-ish girls like myself. I have a little bit of a longer torso plus the back panel was very tight at a size xl. I would want to try again but it seems like the sizing has not increased to be bigger than xl. My measurements are close to the model Arlene's but I think my torso is longer so I found that it felt like the onesie was pulling me forward a lot. I know this is an update I think to the one I bought, but just wanted to let people know. The pockets were amazing. It looked cute but the pads in the bra part sat a little lower than where my boobs actually are. And just this last week I had to throw mine in the trash as the back panel above my butt started to rip 🙁. Also the panel that sits at the crouch did not sit at the crouch. The little triangle of fabric sat more in front of where I assume it was supposed to sit so the leg seam and the crouch seam seemed more visible when I was just standing or sitting than they should be. I assume this was because of the poor fit all the way around. (Despite this experience, the popflex support team was wonderful and did help me out after previously recalling the item after I had ordered it.)
I'm 38 B bra size with 44 in bust, 40 in waist and about 47-48 in hips. I normally would order a size 1x or for a looser fit on the top, 2x. So this onesie was a miss for me.
I ultimately decided to give this 4 stars instead of 3 because it does actually make me feel amazing. The fabric has a nice mid level compression and really smoothes out my figure. It's ok for a low to medium impact workout, but probably best for leisure (paired mine with a relaxed fit denim jacket for running errands).
The downside however, is the sizing is a bit off for my body type. If I go by measurements, I'm a L, which is the size i got. But going by clothing size (i wear a 10 most of the time) i would be and XL. So I think the L is an inch too small around my waist, the section on the back that dips really low was pretty much at its limit. This part sits closer to the hips than the waist. But if I sized up, it would be too big in the chest and legs. For reference my measurements are 38/33/42. I'm 5'5" and the torso fit was also a little long for me.
I'm going to keep it cause it really makes me look and feel gorgeous, and hopefully shift some pounds around my tummy/butt.
This onesie is so flattering it is cut to minimize my tummy pooch and maximize my glutes. The material is so soft I love it! I am a size small on top and an XS on bottom. I went with the small and I love the fit.
I am typically a size S in leggings and sports bras, so that is what I ordered - I'm a 27 waist, 32DD bust, and this hit me in all the wrong places. Even with the adjustable straps I felt like there was no support in the chest, and the low back dipped so low I was worried about my bottom hanging out (I have a short torso). The overall length in the legs was totally fine and the fabric felt great - the proportions just didn't work for me at all.
So I bought this the first time it was released. I usually wear a M for leggings and an L on top in most of Popflex's recent collections. I went with a M, since I figured it was more important for the bottoms to fit and the top was adjustable. I wish I had sized up to a L! the bottoms were much tighter than her typical legging, which surprised me and there was more room at the top-- basically the opposite of what I'd expected. I still managed to get it on and used it for dance workouts, but a L would have been more comfortable and I'd be less worried about any seams ripping in the rear! For reference I'm a 34D/32DD with measurements of 38-30-40.
