Beautiful book but not what I was hoping for.

It's a beautifully made book and perfect if you are looking for desserts. I was really disappointed when there was only 1 recipe that wasn't dessert. I was expecting that it would be more protein meals to help sculpt your body instead of sweets. I haven't made any of the recipes yet but can tell itll be a crap shoot trying to use other protein powers then what the recipe calls foe. If you are looking for a dessert book this is for you but if not then you can decide if it's worth the purchase.

Yummy recipes so far!

The recipes in this book are focused more on: Drinks (smoothies, lattes, cocoa, milk tea), Breakfasts, Muffins/breads/pizza crusts, Snacks, and Desserts. The book is hardcover and sturdy, and the pictures are really nice! Every recipe incorporates Blogilates' protein powder and/or collagen peptides that you can find at Target. Unfortunately my local Target doesn't have the Chocolate shake flavor protein powder, so I make do with the Sweet cream flavor that's available. So far I've tried the mint chip shake post-workout and it's delicious! Since I didn't have the chocolate flavor protein I mixed the sweet cream with a few teaspoons of dark chocolate cocoa powder and it was perfect. Since there is xanthan gum in the protein powder it will thicken your smoothie up a bit, but the consistency wasn't too bad in my opinion. I also like that there are substitutes mentioned in the book, as there are a few ingredients that are a little harder to find in my area.

I took one star off just because I found some spelling errors in the book--Pictured below, I think the text was supposed to say: Butter-Flavored, not butter-lavored... There was also "Deboat" instead of "Debloat" I randomly saw while looking through recipes.

Excited to try the rest of the recipes! :)

Very pretty layout

Very pretty. Designed exclusively for her protein powder. Which would be fine but I find the powder sickly sweet and it remains gritty in smoothies. Not for me or anyone not fond of monk fruit sweetener.

Delish Desserts!

I really like the cookbook. During certain times of the month I really crave sweets. These are healthy and good alternatives to real sugar. I can't get any of the foods to look like Cassey's pictures but isnt that just real life? I do use real butter/dairy products and protein power from Costco. Everthing blogalites is sold out at my local targets. Thanks Cassey!

Can’t Wait to Bake

The chocolate protein powder was sold out at Target, however, I finally got my hands on some so now I can’t wait to try these recipes! I love how Cassie incorporates both the vanilla and chocolate protein powders in her recipes. I also can’t express how grateful I am that this is a physical book (I’ve never been a fan of PDF recipe books). The photographs are vibrant and all the recipes look mouthwateringly delicious. I never get enough protein in my diet, so it’s so amazing there is an entire recipe book devoted to higher protein foods!
