Cute & Roomy

This bookbag is really cute! I love the gingham pattern on the inside and it was one of my primary reasons for choosing this bag. I gave it 4 stars because I can't fit my gym shoes in the shoe compartment. *I'm a size 11/ 11.5 in women's. I can fit flat footwear in the compartment, but just barely. I managed to get the zipper closed after a little bit of force, but you could tell the seams were struggling. So if you have bigger feet be aware.
The bag is hella spacious though and you can fit a ton of stuff inside. I was able to fit the entire dreamsicle fit kit inside (yoga mat on the holder straps) and then some. It fit my 36oz yeti bottle with the cap on as well- so tall and larger water bottles fit in the straps inside and in the outside pockets. The laptop pocket inside was nice as well, but it's not padded. My laptop is 13.3in for reference. I attached some photos of everything I fit inside the bag and pockets. Overall I'm happy with it~

Did not live up to my expectations

i have for a long time wanted to buy one of the bags but they were sold out. So when this beautiful floral packpack came I had to buy it. It has a good size and is mostly sturdy in structure but my shoes does not fit in the compartment in the buttom and I have tried laying them many different ways. The green straps are a little loose and so is the strap for the big main room so they do not always stay in place. If I did not live in Denmark, I would have returned it and waited for the Ella Duffle.

So many compartments

I love it, so many compartments and so pretty! Only issue is it isn't as lightweight as advertised.

Lots of space- but not for shoes

I want to start this by saying I love ALMOST every part of this backpack. I got it for my year of grad school, work and internship. I wanted something that held a lot of keys (it does and so far is holding up) something that would have a lot of space- including my large waterbottle (it holds it well both on the inner and outer pockets!) the part I was MOST EXCITED for really let me down. Living in a state where it snows, the idea of shoe storage at the bottom of my bag gave me so much hope. Sadly, it only fits about 1.25 size 8 running shoes in it, so if I wanted to utilize it to store shoes for indoors, I can’t. It does hold climbing shoes, and acts as a pretty good short term insulated area for frozen food. The backpack is made well, with a lot of nice pockets but not so many that they don’t have a use. I wouldn’t say with the pocket issue it’s worth the 165$ because I expected a lot more from it, but it’s worth it if you have a gift card or birthday money.

Cute but needs improvement

Had this bag for a bit and it is the cutest thing ever and very comfortable. I get a lot of compliments and the main area is nice a roomy to carry multiple things.
Biggest complains:
1. The shoe compartment barley fits my asics. They aren't even my widest ones. This was something I was afraid of and most disappointed bc it's one of the main reasons I wanted a bag like this. It be good for storing other things but this compartment is not big enough to easily fit a good majority tennis shoes and sneakers (unless you have narrow and small feet, I'm average size 7 or 8 depending) if you have big feet, your shoes won't fit. Just saying.
2. The string locks are a joke. They don't lock well at all. Have to tie nots constantly to hold them in place. When locked you can still slide them up and down the strings. Not really ideal.
3. Could use a chest strap for supports (many of them now have whistles on the buckles) You can really fit a lot in this bag, which means it can get heavy. More suport would be very helpful.
4. I'm afraid the big buckles will break overtime. They don't feel as sturdy as my other backpacks despite being very big.
Over all, an ok average backpack that looks cut, feels soft, and has a lot of room. Don't know if I would qualify this as a type of gym bag but it is definitely a good day pack.
Hope this helps.
