I purchased this sweater in olive, merlot and teal, and have now worn all 3. I am about 180 lbs and 5'6", and the L/XL is great for me. It is very oversized and I love that. The sweater hits at the hip, which I really appreciate because the crop look doesn't look great on me in my opinion. This is a super flattering and cozy piece. I have worn these to work and at home. My work is casual, but I feel a bit more elevated wearing this to work than my Cloud hoodies (though I don't care too much what work thinks and still wear the hoodies). My only request would be like others have mentioned to make the pockets just a bit bigger to fit cell phones, and the neck a tad bigger too. I would recommend this if you want to feel cute and cozy and like the oversized look.
I actually purchased this in 2 colors and they did not disappoint. The pockets won't fit a normal size phone without falling out though, The sizing is definitely spot on I would give it a 4.8 if I could.
So nice! Soft, well made, beautiful shape. I would definitely buy another one!
The only real downside is that the pockets are too small. My phone falls out and sort of makes them unusable since that is what I usually carry.
Additionally (this might just be me) I would love the neck to be a little looser, it’s a very close cut crew.
Sweater is very oversized and cozy. I usually wear a M, so I bought the S/M, I probably could have gotten XS/S for a more fitted look, but I understand that this is supposed to be oversized. Might see if it will shrink some in the dryer.
My biggest disappointment with this purchase is the pockets. They are way too small. My hands fit in there, but forget about a phone or wallet. They will definitely fall out. It bums me out because I feel like with Popflex taking feedback from its customers on other products, they know how important pockets can be so I'm bummed they didn't get this right on the first iteration of the product. I hate feeling like I have to wait for 2nd/3rd iterations of a product for Popflex to get the pockets correct. Will I return it? No, it's cozy enough that I want to keep it and maybe I can fix the pocket issue with some simple sewing to connect the two tiny pockets into one bigger one by adding some material. This just makes me hesitate to buy brand new products from Popflex and to instead hang on until they re-release with improved designs.
I am in love with the brunch sweater, I just ordered another.
It's so cute and classy, I've gotten so many compliments on it and they are all running to get theirs.
I sized down, normally I purchase an s/m but opted for a xxs/xs because I am 5'2 and had the opportunity to try on a s/m before purchasing.
The xxs/xs just has a bit less volume but still fits in such a comfy over sized way. It is a bit shorter which is fine - seeing as I am also shorter :) I would consider sizing down if you're also petite and wondering about volume. As easy fix - for an absolutely perfect piece!
