I love the skorts and own quite a few, this is the best version they’ve done. The material is incredibly soft and lightweight. The colour is beautiful. The length is now perfect for me, it actually covers the booty perfectly, I’m so pleased.
See photos for some comparisons of previous versions compared to the new updates. I’m terms of sizing I have an XS in all of them, they’re super stretchy. The waist measurement is about 1 inch thinner then the one from last January, and has more of a cinching effect, but it’s very stretchy. The length of the skirt is so much better, it’s about 2 1/4 inches longer then the last one at the back and completely covers the shorts.
I love my twirl skort from last year, so I knew I had to have this updated version in dusty lilac. The color is so pretty! See attached photo to see the updates to the style — longer skirt with the shorts less visible underneath, and no curved seams on the sides of the skirt. The longer length makes the skirt less flouncy, but it’s still flattering and twirl-able.
For sizing: I always size up to M in Popflex bottoms (waist 27”, hips 35”).
The twirl skort is one of my all-time favorite Popflex designs! When they restocked (with a longer skirt back!) I had to get it!
The color is so pretty and subtle - I got the Moss but honestly all of them are gorgeous!
The fabric is so smooth to the touch, and super stretchy so it's easy to put on. I love the longer skirt back. It's not significantly longer, but it still adds just that little bit of more coverage.
The waistband is super stretchy and not tight or pinching at all. And the skirt just flows so beautifully. Of course we still have the super subtle pockets on the shorts underneath, which is perfect for holding a phone, wallet, or anything else.
My only concern with the twirl skort, which is super duper minor and mostly more personal to me than to the item itself, is that because the waist is so soft it conforms to the shape of your waist. So on days when I'm a bit more bloated than usual, I can see my belly button through the waistline and it makes me just a tad self-conscious.
