Adorable Bag, Meh Material

The bag is adorable and the foundation of the bag's design is solid! I love the structure, I love the pockets, I love the beautiful interior fabric.

However, I can't help but question why the designers would choose sherpa. One of the biggest problems with the original sloane tote was that it would attract lint really bad. Shearling is MORE of a dirt/lint magnet than dark canvas, which makes the bag terribly impractical (bad for rain/snow, you have to brush the bag out all the time, etc.). As a large bag that would be someone's backpack alternative/daily driver bag, making it shearling just doesn't make sense.

I've read a few comments that have mentioned wanting a faux leather version of the sloane tote. And I'm holding out hope, because if the Popflex design team ever makes a faux leather sloane tote, it would be the most lovely, timeless, perfect bag I could think of!

Great versatile bag

Disclaimer: I ended up returning. But even with that in mind, I really liked this bag. It's hard to find bags that have as many considerate pockets as Cassey's. The color was a muted rose pink (love), and the size was so nice (I have a 17" laptop that fit pretty well). I also liked how stiff the bag was, it stands by itself and doesn't fold in on itself. The reason I didn't keep it is because the outer material was rough and scratchy, it didn't feel very good on my skin and made me worried about my more delicate clothes. Also the handles were nice but I'm not the type to use them, so they just got in my way.
