Cora Backpack - Black

I got my child the Cora Backpack in the dusty rose color at the end of 2024, with plans for her to use it for at least two years for school and as a carry on. Perhaps it wasn’t intended to be used for school, while the bag is great as a carry on, is not exceptional as a school bag. The backpack was unable to accommodate all the school supplies (binder, laptop, books, etc) without excessive effort to close the bag. We also had an issue with the zippers. After about a year of owning the Cora backpack, my daughter saw the paint on the zippers began to chip off which didn’t affect the functionality, but did make me doubt the quality of the zippers. Speaking of, the zipper on the front pocket is prone to breaking if used often. Thankfully, my child was able to finish the school year with the broken zipper and access that pocket. Despite these disappointing results as a school bag, the Cora backpack is beyond excellent for travel. My daughter loved all the pockets to put her chargers, headphones, etc and the bag was compact enough to fit beneath an economy seat. Overall, while my daughter was very happy with the purchase and loved the bag, I was disappointed in certain aspects and think that, for the price, the backpack should be flexible for multiple uses and have better quality materials.

Bought this bag in 2024. I was excited to use it cause I had bought the Mavourneen mini and wanted a larger bag for travel. The first time I used it, the side pocket tightener where the water bottle is supposed to go ripped off. Still loved the multiple pockets inside, the shoe compartment and the yoga straps to place a jacket when traveling, so kept using the bag.

However, I have had the large zipper teeth on the main compartment rip open multiple times to the point where I was in a terminal and someone pointed out my bag was open. I’ve been able to Jerry rig it back to use; however, functionality for travel is now limited. I would recommend changing the zipper for the main compartment so the main compartment can actually be used to its fullest capacity. Will likely donate this bag.

In addition, since it looks like the Mavourneen mini is no longer on sale, the mini is super cute, but the main compartment zipper teeth has the same issue, now the zipper is stuck forever and will likely have to throw it away.

I had been wanting to get this backpack for ages, and I finally got it after a few years of going back and forth.

I’m glad I did! In addition to my 1L water bottle and laptop, I can put other things in there to work, and it’s great how much I can carry in it. The straps, pockets, etc are very functional. I feel like the black option makes it suitable to take to work too.

One thing I am not happy about is the yoga mat straps and that the material is not necessarily wear-proof. I think it was rubbing on my phone that I put in my back pocket, and it showed wear and tear within a week of using it.

It is the best color 😍 inside and out! Dont even get me started on the compartments 😵 has the most sensible use of space. I've never been so excited to back to school, heck I'll use this for travel and the gym too!

The quality is amazing. It is so comfortable. I just wished there were more colours available at the time of purchase.

I'm a student in Australia and have been eyeing this bag for almost two years before finally purchasing it. It was better than I ever thought! The material is of such high (waterproof) quality and surprisingly lightweight, considering its thickness and cushioning. I am in love with all the pockets and how spacious it is!

This was my first purchase from POPFLEX, and I'll definitely be back!

I had no regrets purchasing the bag. I use it for work and gym cause it really repels water and snow I LOVE IT. And it really is easy to clean the inside of the bag.

I really like this backpack, like I love how compact it is. Im much more comfortable ever since I got it less than a month ago. It seemed like a dream come true. However, even though I don't put a yoga mat on it, the bottom holders are already tearing, and like the threads are coming loose... i don't understand why tho, lit I dont put anything more than my mini gym towel on it after my exercises....maybe it was storaged for too long and I received a bad item???

Love the backpack, many pockets, and great if you’re a mom, or someone often on the go. I didn’t notice the tag was upside down until my daughter pointed it out. I was bummed but thought meh, I don’t want to go through the hassle of an exchange and who the heck is going to notice anyway. Well… my husband who doesn’t notice a haircut asked me if I got a knockoff or if this brand has an upside down name. Hopefully others won’t notice right? lol 😅. I’ve purchased many a time from popflex, and haven’t seen an oopsie like that before, and sometimes stuff like this happens, to every single company. The quality is top knotch otherwise!! ♥️

And seriously it’s an awesome backpack.

So I LOVE so many things about this bag. Especially the size! it can hold so much but not look too bulky. All the pockets are amazing and it't very functional. I bought this one year ago when the Magic Flash was available and it was BEAUTIFUL. the slight rainbow was so pretty but only one year later (honestly it became noticeable MONTHS ago) a lot of the black started to rub off and it looked aged. I have backpacks from other brands I've had for the entirety of college that held up without looking aged. I wish I had just gotten the normal fabric I feel like they would have lasted a lot longer and I'm dissappointed I paid extra for it to be prettier but not as long-lasting.

Awesome and everything i hoped for, but the quality wasn’t as good, as i expected and the shoe compartament goes insige the backpck so it takes more space than you ecpect. Alsow the bag can miss shped with books so it doesn’t look as glamourous as it seams. But alsow the joga mat holder can hold your jacket but you need to not forget and not to put it on the ground.

I’m in love with my bag. It’s so soft and the color is so vibrant. I love the design inside and love all the pockets! So many pockets!
The complaints I have is that the straps don’t stay adjusted; but it’s super easy to pull them to where I want, last complaint is that I haven’t even had it for a year (received 8/8/24) and it’s wrinkling at the top. (Refer to picture)

I was kind of on the fence getting this bag because of the price and past reviews. But after using it for a couple of months, I see that I made the right choice. So many pockets. Sturdy. Cushiony. Light. Cute. It carries all my things on my daily commute to the city.

I loved the bag when I saw it online and decided to purchase it for college. When I first got it I was absolutely in love and still really do like the idea of the Cora backpack. However, it has now been one year and I am already in need of a new backpack. The outside and structure is very sturdy, but the pocket meant to hold my laptop is now full of holes. The seam where the lining of that pocket meets the rest of the backpack is pulling off, plus there are two holes on the bottom corners of the pocket. Even though the backpack is a little smaller than expected, I was perfectly fine with that. My main disappointment is that I can no longer use it to carry my laptop (which I need daily) without fear of damaging the bag further.
