CloudCushion Vegan Suede Yoga Mat - Prismatic 0.5” Thick

As someone who doesn't (didn't use to) do yoga and had never owned a yoga mat before, I'm probably not the best person to review this mat, but overall I think it's great. I saw some people say it's a bit too thick to do exercices standing up, but I haven't used it for that, so I cannot judge. For me, I have no issues with it.

"Faux suede" is no joke cause it really smells of new shoes, lol. I love the look and pattern of the mat, it's pretty and clean. The back also looks clean. I like that it's really easy and quick to set up and pack back up. The strap is perfect, you can carry it on your shoulder like it's a bad and even cross-body. The strap is easy to set up around the rolled mat.

The mat is thick, soft and seems really good quality to me. I got it to protect my head from the ground while doing certain exercises and it works great, it's comfortable. I do notice some folds at the fold from rolling it up, but since it's only at the back (not visible), I don't mind as long as the mat holds up. I guess I will see over time.

The only thing that annoys me a bit (not enough to dock 1 star) is how easily dirt, dust and hair sticks to it. The fact that I picked a light color is not helping. I feel like after 1 month of use every day for like 20 minutes, the color already looks more dull because it's dirty, and that is also the case for the strap. It kind of sucks because I honesly don't know how to clean it... I tried cleaning it by hand with a cloth but it didn't change anything. So I'd recommend the darker color more - it'll still be dirty, but at least it won't be as visible... But every hair (cat, human...), dust and any piece of dirt really clings to the material and it's kind of a pain to remove them (I use a lint roller and spot clean if I need to). Oh well.

Overall I still think it's an amazing yoga mat and I do recommend it.

When it arrived it had a bit of damage that I was hoping would squish out with time, but not yet. Basically one of the edges was a bit folded. It also looks wrinkly all the time. For the price point, I was hoping for a better appearance. But the surface is soft and the mat has been very comfortable to lie on in Yin Yoga. It's not perfectly noiseless though... it is a bit squeaky because of the rubber. I like the strap, it's very handy.

It looks amazing on the website but beware it’s exactly the same foamy mat material that I got from a Reebok workout mat at TJMaxx for about $9 on clearance when it was originally like $15 at TJMaxx. It’s not at all worth the more than $70 price tag. It’s a rip off. Not especially grippy and the star design looks faded and washed out. Not cute… Popflex has some great things but unfortunately this isn’t one of them. Really cheap and the shipping company used Veho brought a creepy delivery driver to my door…

This yoga mat is great! Super comfortable and squishy, and it is definitely anti-slip as well. It has such a cute pattern and great support :) Function and material of the mat is awesome!

Only thing that is kind of a bummer is it got wrinkled in shipping, and I think it will permanently stay that way. However, it is not enough for me to not recommend purchasing as it doesn't change the effectiveness of the mat, just the looks in certain spots. It's still super cute though and I'm happy with my purchase :)

It’s VERY comfortable and pretty, just came with a few creases due to poor handling.

I really did love this mat when my husband bought it for me as a gift, sadly it has not held up well at all. I use my mat at home and do not travel with it but despite that I has begun to come apart on the edges. So sad after the large price tag :(

With summer rolling in, I wanted a thick yoga mat for my outdoor yoga/ pilates/ barre activities. The cloud mat's thickness ensures my knees stay protected whether I am exercising on a lawn or on the streets. It's grippy and long as well. I am 5ft 8in and it's more than enough for me. And best of all, its extra light weight makes it easy to carry around to all these locations.

The only downside is the weird smell it gives off when new but I know it will go away as I continue using it.

I waited so long to get this, I just didn't believe it could be that great. A friend who has had hers for years let me try it. It was still in excellent condition and I was immediately sold. The texture is perfect -no slipping feet, but no sticking either. The cushion is amazing.

Bonus, it doubles as a great playmat for the little one. And would be good for hilarious space-themed photoshoots...

I love the design and thick material but after a year the top started separating from the mat. Very disappointing given the price. It also slides around my floor, which is wood, and I’ve almost fallen a few times. The suede is also not grippy unless your hands are truly sweaty which for me is never. Pet hair also sticks to the suede pretty badly so keep in mind if you have a pet. Again, beautiful design and love the thickness but it’s just not functional as it should be.

It’s even prettier in person, compliments my personality and very comfortable! I can’t wait to do some “Move with Nicole” on YouTube with it! Thank you for the best Yoga Mat EVERRR!

I’ve had this mat for a little over a year now. I loved it at first. I was able to do yoga, hiit workouts, strength training on it and I didn’t slip at all. Around the year mark the mat started having a couple bubbles and now they have just spread all over the mat. The top layer of fabric is starting to peel off which is such a shame. I thought this mat would last a little longer.

I believe this was advertised as a wide yoga mat, and it is absolutely not. It is the narrowest yoga mat I have, and the quality isn't great either.

I've been a supporter of PopFlex for years and I have loved every product I've gotten from them except for the cloud mat. Over the years I've seen people have the same issue that I have been having with both of my cloud mats. Other than the loose fabric I've had no issues but this is something I would like to see improved.

I’m happy I bought this. It’s definitely worth it. I love the thickness of it. Makes a huge difference when working out especially if I’m on my knees. I will be getting it in more colors.

I've been really pleased with the thickness of this yoga mat—it provides excellent cushioning and doesn’t hurt my knees when I use it. However, considering the price, I had higher expectations for the overall quality. Unfortunately, I’m disappointed with the excess fabric that causes wrinkles and the poorly cut edges, which are quite visible. These details seem to have been overlooked, which is surprising given the brand’s reputation. I hope they address these quality control issues in future products.

This mat is absolutely adorable and incredibly cozy! It's so soft and lovely to look at. It's not overly bold, which is nice because it doesn’t stand out. The only minor thing is a small tear on the side, but honestly, it's hardly noticeable and doesn't affect its overall charm. I'd definitely purchase it again – totally worth it!

I ordered this after months of contemplation, and I’m hoping it ends up being worth it. There is already slight peeling right out of the box, but I’m hoping it won’t become a major problem. There were also several dents in the mat, I think from the strap with the packaging, but I have it rolled out and I’m hoping they will go away after a while. The smell was completely gone after I followed the cleaning directions and gave it a good wipe down! While it was slick out of the box, if you give it a light misty spray before use there is no slip, and by the time you start to sweat it’s already working perfectly! While I’m a little heart broken it’s not in perfect condition I do think it’s an amazing product, I would order it again.
