Big Hug Fleece Half Zip Sweater - Pine

So I had originally given this 5 stars but I’ve been only washing this sweater on cold, on delicate setting & hanging to dry and after only 3 months of wear the zipper completely broke off, rendering the sweater basically unwearable bc I can’t zip it up. It’s really disappointing for this price point yall really need sturdier hardware. I wasn’t yanking on it I pulled it a normal amount to simply zip it up and the ‘metal’ snapped. They did refund me 25% of the purchase but I still paid more than I would’ve liked to for a hoodie I only wore for 3 months.

I finally got it! this is a very soft and warm sweater. I took an L/XL size, because it's my usual size in clothing stores. Now I think it was worth buying a size smaller. according to some reviews, I was afraid that it was not soft, but it turned out to be untrue. very deep pockets, you can put anything in there. I liked it very much❤️

It's very warm and comfortable, and until now I thought that it was a good purchase worth the $$$, but 3 months later the seams are coming apart on the shoulder, leaving a noticeable hole that looks like it's going to continue to get worse. I'm surprised by how poorly this has held up considering that I don't wear or wash it often. For the amount that I spent on it I would have hoped for nicer quality. Maybe I got a dud, but I'm very unhappy.

EDIT: Someone from customer service did reach out to me promptly after I posted this review and I feel satisfied in how they handled making things right.

Unfortunately, I bought the wrong size and my size was out of stock at the time. Plus with the holidays coming up, I just could not be bothered to exchange/return it.

That being said, I absolutely adore it. It’s super cozy, and while it’s too wildly oversized to wear out in public, I do enjoy gaming in it and hiding my cat inside with the extra space.

The adjustable waistband does help on the ill fitting aspect, and I find myself choosing this over my usual morning chores robe. I’ve definitely been debating buying the correct size in a new color, as I love it so much. It might be a splurge, but the quality is… chef’s kiss. Would definitely recommend!

For photo reference, I’m 5’7 on a good day, and usually wear XL! Bonus: my cat enjoying the extra space!

Love the big sleeves and it’s so comfy! As a tall girly, I recommend going true to size or even sizing up if you want a longer fit. I am wearing S/M #tryoncrew

This jacket is literally a blanket in jacket form. I am always so cold and this jacket keeps me suuuuper warm. This is definitely a winter essential! This jacket is oversized, so I love how you have the option to either wear it cinched or uncinched for a cropped or relaxed look. I'm 5'00" wearing a size XXS/XS. #tryoncrew

CANNOT stop wearing this jacket!!! It is so warm, comfy, soft and oversized. It can be worn cropped or long. I personally love wearing it oversized and long. For those who like coverage just know it can cover your whole butt. I love wearing it with everyday jeans or my leggings when I am home.
I personally wouldn’t work out at the gym in this but it’s perfect for walks/hikes. I could have sized down in this. I am wearing 1X/3X #tryoncrew

This item is named perfectly, it truly does feel like a big fuzzy hug when you put it on! I've been wearing this item non-stop during the cold weather in my area and it keeps me so warm and cozy. I love having the half zipper, and the pocket is nice and large too. I like to wear it with the hoodie cinched on the bottom. My favorite feature is the thumbholes, they keep my hands warm yet accessible! I am normally XL wearing a size L/XL but if you want a less oversized look, I would size down to S/M and it would definitely fit.#tryoncrew

This keeps me warm without overheating. The huge collar makes it easy to cool down and provide ventilation. It's so snug. I almsot always have it on in the office.

This fleece in orchid ice is so pretty! It’s warm and soft, I love it! L/XL fits true to size, even a bit oversized.

At first I did not like this because it seemed too oversized, but I have grown to love it especially during the winter months. It feels comfy like you are wearing a cozy blanket but soo much cuter.

Between the thumb holes and the high neckline, its the best jacket I've ever had for winter dog walks

Oversized s/m fleece it's big but I like how it fits. I love the bungee around the waist. My order was for charcoal grey color but it's not available anymore since I waited too long to leave my reviews.

This sweatshirt is simply THE coziest and most awesome one out there. Easy to make it snug around the waist, the thumb holes, and the easy 1/2 zip makes this amazing. O my drawback is that it takes a lot of room up in my suitcase when I pack it 😂😂. I literally take it with me on every weekend getaway!

I bought this as part of the initial release sale and have no regrets! It is SO cozy I pretty much wore it nonstop the first week it came in. Now I pull it out several times a week after working out. I typically wear xs in popflex tops and got this in xxs/xs and it is still very roomy.

This is my big warm coat now. It’s so cozy and definitely hug-like. The extra long neck was very helpful in snowy Cincinnati!

I originally bought the black fleece as a treat for myself for landing a new job. I now wear this thing day in and day out because it's just so dang comfy. It got to the point where my boyfriend started wearing it around my place too if I didn't crawl out of bed fast enough, so I just had to save up to get him his own one too 😆 now we both match, and we can stay warm (and look cool!) running errands!

My only minor thing is that I wish the sleeves were a bit longer. I'm 5'11 and got a S/M, so if I stretch my arms it does get very tight around my thumbs.

Pro tip:

I bought this for two reasons- I wanted something with a giant collar to fight the cold winter days and because I am currently 35 weeks pregnant and it looked cozy. It was sold out in the larger sizes but decided to go with a XXS/XS and it still works totally fine (ref. 115, 5'4 not preg). My only wish is the sleeve was longer. I hope they restock for next winter bc I would buy another!
