Cool bikini top.

I love the style of this front in back, there’s just a few more changes I would love to make it perfect. 1- the color is DEFINITELY cream not white like the picture. 2- the cups fold out vs hugging the skin making the potential of flashing someone while swimming catching water in them. 3- I also have NO idea why they didn’t give nipple coverage. Maybe some people like exposing their nipples but unless I just happened to be freezing and can’t help it, I’d rather not. I am happy with the support and coverage unlike the Swim 2.0. This first collection was still better than the newest one.

Love this bikini top! It holds my big chest (never had a slipping accident), looks amazing from the front and back, also super comfortable and great for swimming. My fav bikini top for sure!
I took the L size (D cup). Also the top looks amazing together with the surf shorts! It is a great combo!

So adorable, comfortable, and high quality! Possibly my favorite bikini top ever! The balconette bra is supportive without digging in or poking my ribs, and I love the tied back and gold hardware details! I'm a 36C wearing a size XL/A-C, which fits perfectly! Another win from PopFlex!

I wear it once a week in an indoor swimming pool in the UK. The fabric has faded into a greyish-green colour. Both wires have poked out from the bra, but luckily, they didn’t come out during washing, which could have damaged the washing machine. I do put them in a washing net when washing them in the machine.

I do not recommend this for regular swimmers or water exercises, as the parachute effect of the cups makes it feel like they could expose my nipples at any moment. However, the cord holds up surprisingly well. The fabric around the nipple area offers no privacy, making me feel very exposed.

Oh boy. Well, the positive: It's well-constructed and surprisingly supportive! Considering, well, I'm typically a 34G and the XL at a F-G cup size was comically small on me. 😅Unfortunately going to be returning it, I definitely would've swapped it for a larger cup if there was one because it is very cute.

Fits amazing. Really impressed. I knew there were not any pads, and thought the double lining would help conceal but it's not helping. I don't know about you but I'm normally a little cold getting into a pool. So this makes me nervous. And I'd love to not have the headlights also on display. It's hot, but I don't need the headlights.

Other than that, construction is excellent. Fit incredible. Comfortable. And the color is to die for!

I like Popflex and wanted to love this piece. However, as other reviews have mentioned, there are several issues:

No nipple coverage
Parachute effect while swimming
Colour fades after just 3 swims
Poor stitching
Fabric absorbs too much water
Not very flattering for my bust
Difficult to put on
Strings tangle easily

Metal parts at the ends of the strings dangle uncomfortably
I understand this is a top without padding, but the material over the nipple area is too thin, making me feel exposed, especially when it becomes wet or when I'm in cold water and my nipples become erect. I want to pretend that I don't care, but I can't—I feel very exposed in this.

When I swim a bit faster, the parachute effect becomes more prominent, which limits my speed. It hasn’t exposed my nipples yet, but it feels like it could.

I initially loved the colour, but not anymore. I only swim in pools, and while I understand that chlorine can cause colour fading, the change is excessive. It’s now a very muted green, and different parts of the fabric have varying shades of green.

Please refer to the other reviews showing the poor stitching. I don't believe this is typical of Popflex. I think this might be an individual issue with this particular piece.

The fabric is soft to the touch, but it absorbs too much water. I want something that offers nipple coverage and doesn't absorb so much water.

I would tolerate a top that's difficult to put on if it made my bust look nice. Similarly, I could overlook the tangling strings and the annoying metal parts if this top flattered me, but that’s not the case here.

Cassey and the team, please come up with a better version of this top that addresses the issues mentioned above! I would definitely buy the new version in a heartbeat.

I was so excited for this swim top. Really like the style and idea. The fit was ok but the quality left more to be desired. Took it out of the bag and noticed threads coming out in many places and the edges are frayed. Also wished it came with padding cause my nips were visible even though it was double lined.

For the price and popflex standard, was expecting a much higher quality :(

I’ve had and used this top for a couple months now and have been holding off on reviewing hoping it would get better. I really wanted to like it, since the ads seemed so promising and I really was a fan of the low tide matching bottoms. But honestly, I think this might be one of the worst tops I’ve purchased and I’m very disappointed. Firstly, this top is practically see through in white due to the lack of padding. You can practically see the shape of my individual areolas from the bumpy part on my nipples. I was excited for the lack of padding because I thought PFA would make it comfy, but I’d think they would have at least thought women would want a little coverage. I don’t feel secure at all going out in this top. Second, jumping off things head first or resurfacing head first creates a parachute effect, and the top tries to pull itself down so you have to hold it. I followed the sizing chart exactly. The suit fits perfectly, but these issues are still arising. I kept it because I really liked the cut and hoped that maybe if it would at least performed well, I could just see in pads, but honestly it wants to come down at every dive. I wish I’d not given it a chance and simply returned it. Too late now. Covered identifying tattoos in picture. It’s a lot worse in the sunlight.

This is a super cute top and has the vintage look I had been looking for in a new bathing suit. I love the silhouette however the sizing is off, particularly when it comes to the cups. For reference I’m a 34DD and purchased a Medium F-G cup yet these cup feel two sizes smaller. I don’t feel comfortable submitting a photo with the top on, but to paint a picture, if I swam in this top there would definitely be slippage. Also, I wore the top once and the seems at the end of the wires already have fraying. Higher quality was expected at this price point.

37 yo - 5’5” - 148lbs - XL/D-E Love the color and style of this suit! But the fit of the top isn’t great - Im a 34/36 DD and Based on the size chart and other things I’ve bought from pop flex, I originally got a M/D-E and was way too small. The size I exchanged for is the correct size but the underwire doesn’t work like a bra, it’s there but it doesn’t sit close to the body. So there really isn’t any support and while swimming I was constantly making sure nothing slipped out (nothing did but I didn’t feel secure). It’s so cute and the corset back makes the band feel super secure but the cups sit too far away and it since it’s low cut it makes me nervous.

I really wanted to like this top but it's way too small! I wear 34E UK sizing and the bought a Medium D-E. The cups look like they'd barely fit a B cup! There is not enough material for larger boobs. D-E cups are for 4-5" of breast (I think, I'm no expert) and the cups look like they might fit 2". I compared it to my 36dd balconette bra and it's so much smaller. Maybe I should have gotten the L D-E size since I am on the edge of being M and L, but even that is skeptical to me. The gore is not flush to my skin, but looks like it isnt on any of the models either. Probably just a flaw in designing to look like a balconette bra rather than to be an actual balconette bra or give the support of a bra. I love the color and style of the swimsuit but feels like I might just pop out. It also gives me quad boobs haha if I dont rearrange. Another issue is that the popflex logo tag on the outside came off on one side after just touching it! Makes me wonder about the quality of the rest of the stitches! The swimsuit is also going to show your nipples and the straps seem too long for me.

Overall I am probably going to keep the swimsuit. It still looks ok even if it's too small, and I love the color and style of it. Plus now all the other sizes are out of stock and mine has the logo falling off so it's probably not good to exchange. I plan on going for an ocean swim soon so I'll see if it survives that or if anyone gets a peek! If you're going to buy this top definitely size up like 2 cup sizes and maybe a band size as well if you have some decent boobage. I think they would have been better off naming the cup sizes xs s m rather than misleading customers by using letter sizes like bras. Would definitely like to see cup sizes that match up with actual bra cup sizes rather than just a guesstimate. And I would have appreciated a better size guide if they are going to include cup sizes. There are so many more measurements for bras than just 1 measurement!

I'm in love with this swim top because it fits me absolutely perfectly, it's comfortable, it's cute and it seems like it'll stay up no problem. Plus, the adjustable back is a great touch. However, I got it in a size D-E because I had gotten the one piece with the same cups (Boardwalk Bombshell Cheeky One Piece) in an A-C, and although it was wearable, the cups were still a little too small and it offered me absolutely zero support. My normal cup size is 32 large C or small D. I feel like the difference between A-C and D-E is really minimal... I don't see how the D-E could fit an E cup, I think it would still fit me if I was 1 size up but not more. Overall, I feel like the cup sizes aren't super accurate, cause I'm far from an E cup. If you are in-between sizes or at the top of your size range, I'd say definitely size up. But still, I love this top, it's flattering, the fabric is thick and I don't think I could spill out of it (my boobs didn't feel as safe in the A-C cup). Also, with this cup size, I feel like the support is better - it still offers light support, but it's good enough for a swimsuit.
