As you know, dupes are such a huge problem in the fashion industry. When I first designed my Pirouette Skort, I didn't know how many thousands of battles I would have to fight to protect my creation. I am grateful to have been awarded a design patent from the USPTO for my unique design, but it's not enough to change consumer behavior and the dirty parts of the industry.
In Tracy's DIY Upcycle Kit, you'll find the actual dupes that were going to be thrown away. When the dupers finally agreed to stop selling the infringing product and insisted on discarding it all, I forced them to send me the dupes. That’s how the POPFLEX Upcycle Project was born.

I was so excited to use the dupe skorts to make this beautiful dress. However, whenever, the link for Tracy's DIY Upcycle Kit is dead. There is no explanation (sold out etc...). I don't want to source different fabric because it will ruin the beauty of the dress. Please fix the link or provide an update. Thank you in advance! I know you put a lot of effort into designing and this must be an error, so no hard feelings. Just feeling a bit disappointed. Hopefulllly this issue will be resolved. :)

I haven't started making the dress yet. Directions look a little confusing if you didnt buy the shorts to go with it. Will try to make anyways, looks like a fun project to start!

Can't wait to get started, the dress is gorgeous, and I love that it uses up SO many of the dupes, such a great way to make use of them. However, the dupe fabric kits sold out SO fast!! I hope that if Cassie is able to wrench them away from the cold dead hands of her nemesis that anyone who has already bought the pattern can get first dibs. Maybe a secret password and special link that gets sent out to everyone who's already purchased the pattern? Would be so fab to give us a chance first so we can make these stunning dresses. Pattern looks easy enough for a confident beginner, but be warned that a serger is sort of required. Taking a star off for a lack of written instructions (pattern is youtube video only for instruction)

This is the first and only sewing pattern I've ever purchased that did not come with written instructions and information about fabric choice and yardage. I don't want to have to take notes from a YouTube tutorial and write the instructions myself, I pay for patterns so that I can follow instructions that have been written and tested. At the very least, the website listing should clearly state that written instructions are not included. For $18 CAD this was a very unprofessional choice.
The page to get the dupes isnt working so I cant sew this dress. Dissapointed, it looks like fun
Same here, I am trying to get it for my sister since she sew and that this gorgeous lilac color is her favorite, but I also ends up on this "404 Error not found" page. I cannot wait to get it, she is gonna be so happy !
I'm excited to start this pattern but I'm having some trouble getting onto the page to order the dupes for recycling, it's coming up with an error and page not found, hence 4 stars. The pattern itself looks great, and I'm sure I can find fabric to use myself if there's no more dupe packs available, though I was hoping to get to recycle some fabric with this project
