Take a Hike Dress Set - Dusty Mauve

I already love the hiking overalls, and now I love this dress version. I tried the shortalls, but the cut wasn't quite what I needed for my long torso. This design though, nails it.
The shorts underneath are a great solution. I thought they might stick out in the silhouette, but they don't. I also love that the dress has pockets without snaps that I can just slip my hands into. This was definitely designed with purpose and I love it! Might even wear the shorts separately just as comfy bottoms.

I am wearing this now and I am obsessed. The fabric is super comfortable, and the way that the dress is cut, there is plenty of leg room. There are 2 front pockets, 2 back pockets, and 2 pockets on the inner short part. I have a long torso, so unfortunately opted out of the romper options due to no adjustable straps, but the dress version is a great alternative! I ordered the large, and I am a 5'6 muscular build(weight lifting), 160lbs, with a bust of 38 in, waist 32 in, and hips 40 in. I wear a 36 C to D depending on the bra, none of the components are tight. I did have to cut off the tag from the inner short part, I have sensory issues and it bothered me too much. The attention to detail and craftsmanship for this dress is awesome!

The hike dress is actually so flattering! It cinches at the waist giving you the hour glass figure. Such a great alternative from the short overalls.

Cute but not my style ultimately. Kind of loose in the breasts so needs a good undershirt or bra.

I bought this for its durability and cuteness. The Wild Wind blue is very similar to the Blue Mist color. When I tried it on, my husband said, “You should get more of these!” Guess I’ll have to do what he says! 🤷‍♀️😜 I also plan to buy one in every color in the full length overalls too!

Love this so much! The top is a little loose but it’s fine, I adore this outfit so much. Comfortable and polished.

Such a cute and comfortable dress!! I got this for my daughter and she loves it!! It’s the perfect staple item and you can layer with any top you want!! Perfect for all seasons! Plus the pockets are always the best!!!

I think this is just such a cool idea for a dress. I love the fact that the shorts aren’t built in. They’re separate so it’s easy to go to the bathroom. I bought it in the mauve and I just love the color. I love all the pockets. I love how it cinches at the waist. There’s really not much about this. I don’t love ❤️

I cannot express how much I love this set. It is comfortable, cute, flattering on my frame, and oh yeah, pockets for days! Total count is 4 up front, 2 on the back, and 2 more on the shorts if you choose to wear them. I have received nothing but compliments each time I have worn this to work in (rural mail carrier so all the pockets are needed). The Take a Hike line has been my go to summer work gear for a while, and the newest addition is officially my favorite. I need all the colors!

It's too cute. I sized up because I have a bit of a belly but getting the top adjusted to fit was not an issue with skilled seamstress. The shorts are super comfortable. All the pockets really make it a utility dress.

This is such a great go-to outfit. Easy to put on and off and great for layering underneath. I bought a M initially but decided for a L. Wasnt a huge difference but I liked the looser waistline.

I loved my first Take a Hike Dress so much, I bought another one in black. I LOVE that this comes with match shorts that ALSO have pockets!! I’ve worn this out and about in 95+ degree weather and it was comfy and light weight! I love how comfy yet cute this outfit is! This fits pretty true to size. My only comment is that I have a smaller chest, so it’s a bit baggier up top, but it’s honestly not a big issue.

Obsessed with the fit and color. I am a curvy plus sized body and got my normal size (XL) which fits perfect. My only complaint, also maybe due to my thick thighs, is that the shorts that come with it are loose athletic shorts which means I will still chafe unless I add my own spandex shorts. Unfortunately I do not have a perfect color match for these shorts, but I make do :) Still obsessed with this piece and have received many compliments!

Say yes to this dress. It’s very comfortable and flattering. It’s lightweight. The pockets are spacious and deep. And omg the shorts included have pockets too. More colors please. Im 4”11. 130 lbs. I got size Large. And it fits me so well.

Casual and cute! I love this for running errands on the weekend! The detached shorts really do make this the perfect convenient, easy to wear outfit!

Love the set! Its a good fit. The fabric is a little stiff/goofy, but I suspect it will soften with time!

Fabric not the most comfortable around the waist, so a longer undershirt is recommended. My first wear, I had an undershirt that was too short to keep the waistband from rubbing. Otherwise I got lots of compliments the first time I wore it. Def feel very cute in it :)
