Cloud Shruggie - Vintage Blue

This shruggie has been on my daughter's wish list for a little while. She loves it. As a person who is a warm body, this is great for wanting a hoodie but the days it is too warm for it. Impressed with the quality. Definitely wanting to purchase more clothing from Popflex. This only issue we had was as a Canadian buyer the shipping was confused. One tracker link told me it was delivered and another told me everyday for a week it was arriving the next day. Customer service was very quick and friendly. The shipping won't stop me from ordering again but if there is a way to make it less confusing it would definitely improve the experience.

As another review mentioned, some Shruggies are missing the pleated bishop sleeves. I noticed this with my gray Shruggie (size XXS/XS). I reached out on insta, and POPFLEX confirmed this was intentional and the Cloud Shruggie was redesigned to match the fit of the cloud hoodie.

I actually love the concept of a shrug hoodie; as someone who needs layers all the time, I could see myself using it. So cute, and the fabric is even softer than my OG cloud hoodie.

With that said, I'm not completely sold on the fit. The pleats are gone, and now there's this pointy edge where the drop sleeve is too structured-- it sticks out in a way that isn't very flattering. Also the hood is pretty heavy because it's lined, causing it to constrict my neck ever so slightly. The Cloud Hoodie has the same issue.

Considering the price (it's a shrug that costs $5 less than a full hoodie), I might return unfortunately. I really wanted to love it!

I love how fun this shruggy is and how regal it looks. It's quite warm for what it is and it's a perfect (and quick) Lil jacket.

My cloud shruggie is missing the pleat that was supposed to be on the bishop sleeve which causes it to jut out weirdly (there's a strange spikey bit). I've noticed that some other customers also received the defective version of this product and left reviews commenting on it. I got the black colorway. I noticed some people who ordered the black shruggies did receive the proper pleated version. Within the product photos themselves for the black colorway, one model has the unpleated version (which creates this weird broken arm effect in her) and the other model has the pleated version which looks nice.

The material is nice and construction is well done (aside from this one major error).

I recommend not purchasing this until they address this issue. The lack of quality control and lack of attention to detail is really disappointing. The reason I feel in love with Popflex is the first place was entirely due to Cassey's attention to detail in her designs so this feels like an egregious oversight.

I really adore my other Popflex item so I am confident that they can sort this issue out and make things right for their customers who were sent a defective item.

Update: I exchanged this item for a smaller one. The new pleatless design still looks very strange. I urge you to either go back to the previous version or update the product description and photos so people aren't mislead.

Out of all the clothes I’ve bought from Popflex, this one has to be my favorite! I looooooooove me a good shrug and black really is just the color for it. I have another shrug in white heather and I love that one too but this one is my everything. It’s so hard not to wear this while it’s still warm out and I don’t need it!! I love pairing it with my tan pirhouette skirt and my pink flowy skirt too!! My go to combos these days, it’s like I never wear anything else. Of course I’d be remiss if I didn’t gas up the quality of these clothes too!! So soft, sturdy and comfortable. I feel at my prettiest in Popflex!!!
