Ambition Bra - Black

This is a good bra. I’m a size 34DD and often feel uncomfortable due to the amount of cleavage I naturally have in most sports bras, not to mention how much bounce happens in a high impact workout. I bought the first iterations of the Ambition bra when it came out a little over a year ago and I loved that version of it. Fit-wise, it was amazing. After the redesigned version was released, I ordered 3 new colors and it just wasn’t the same. In the first bra I was a true size Medium but in this one, the Medium was too loose so I had to return for a Small. The small works but just feels a little too tight and doesn’t give me as much belly coverage as the first one gives me (I liked it as a sort of high impact sports bra crop top). I also don’t know why, but my nipples show through in this newer version but I never have that issue when I wear the older version. There is a pocket to add pads but as a larger chested girly I hate bra pads. This is still a good bra though, and I’m so thankful for a design that works for larger chests. Please make more full coverage design options ◡̈

For those of us with a wide ribcage and an ample bust it is incredibly hard to find a truly comfortable bra experience. This bra is so soft and supportive. It feels great on - like a gentle hug. I also suffer from chest/breast sensitivity - this bra is a lifesaver and I'm buying one in every color now!

I own 3 of these bras: 1 black L, 1 black M, 1 buttercream M. I first bought the large about a year ago. I have lost weight in the bust area, and I needed to wear the band on the smallest setting, and needed to cinch the neck straps to the tightest to get support.

I bought the Medium black and was pleased with with support. I wear the medium black on the larger band setting, and the straps half extended.

I bought the buttercream color medium and was disappointed by the inconsistent sizing, or at least how the buttercream colored material performed after wear. The buttercream bra size medium is MUCH larger than the black version after wear.

The straps, I do not like the bulky, chunky straps. Where the strap slider sits is very bulky and looks like bumps on my shoulders... I just don't like it. I wish the straps were either covered or wider so they lay more flat (like the Corset Cami Top). Also in my opinion the straps are too long in general, and where they attach to the front of the bra is bumpy and not sleek. I prefer the sleek strap neck line of the Deep Darling Bra, but that bra chest style does not provide enough bust coverage for me.

I like the thick bottom band in the black version, but the yellow version is softer and tends to bend and ride up (likely due to the size difference). The back half-moon cut-out is okay, but I have some issue with back fat poking out; and it puts the stress of the bust on the straps being tight, and is not transferring that stress to the bottom band across the back (like how the Superbra strap connect directly across the back to the bottom band).

Take the Ambition bra's front pads was combined with the Superbra straps and back (and maybe Superbra's interior bust pads.... Ambition needs some work here), and keep the Ambition Bra bottom band and THAT would be the perfect bra!

I have been looking for a while for a sportsbra that actually holds my D size boobs well when i run and dance. This on did just that! A bit low in the front for my normal style but still nice fit. Love the color, have ordered another in blue ❤️

Also teh adjustable hooks & straps are *chef's kiss* I did take off a star due to it's a little complicated to get into, but manageable. I ordered a M and am 34DD; Great for low impact & medium impact activities; Haven't taken it for a literal run, but would love to see these colors in the high impact superbra!
