I love this! The best oversized cover up
I couldn't get it to look as cute as the model did. It's light and cute but essentially just an over sized linen shirt...very beautiful color in the Dark Sea
I first tried one of these in the lilac after ordering a top and bottom in the same color. I liked the shirt-dress, but something about the sea maiden top and the way the shorts fit felt off to me.... I returned the two swim suit pieces and placed a trade for the lilac shirt-dress for the poppy version to go with the poppy romper. I will be returning the lilac version of the shirt this week.
I really like that this cover-up is made of all cotton and has a big belt. It's a nice touch, in my personal opinion. I feel like I could even wear this shirt with a pair of leggings when the temperatures start to go down enough.
The size I ordered in this item is XXS/XS, and it fits great. The belt helps it look and feel less oversized on me. A lot of oversized and boxy stuff kind of makes me looks big due to having an already boxy body shape. So, thank you for adding the belt to this! And thank you for making this!

It’s indeed more a shirt than a dress. I’m 169 cm (5’7’’), so the shirt is just slightly covering my butt. It is just perfect as a beach coverup for me. Love the pink shade, which compliments my color type. Love the design! Was definitely worth the wait (I’ve missed the summer release, joined the waitlist and got mine in November. For future holidays:)).
And I will always love the small details Cassey adds to her pieces like this shell tag 🐚 and stickers of course (got Sir George this time, yay!)
This coverup is so cute and as my husband put it- Ina Garten would approve lol. I ordered a L/XL because that’s what I like to wear in tops and it was still loose and comfortable.

I generally like the cut, it narrows at the waist and flares out at the hips. It‘s a semi-sheer cover up, nothing you can wear out on it’s own but perfect for the beach when you want a cover that still shows a little.
The stitching is a bit messy which I think just always is a bit more noticeable on shirt-style garments where the tailoring is in focus.
The biggest problem though are the sleeves. They are wide on top and slim down towards the cuff so they’re not blousy. There is only one point at the cuff where they bunch up and that is just not enough to give the sleeve any dimension, so when I put my arm up the sleeve falls down like it was laying flat on the ground and you can see the weird shape of the cut, so you always have to style the levees in some way. I think this problem would have been easily avoidable so it’s a bit of a shame cause it really sticks out on an otherwise great looking shirt.

Soft, comfy piece for the Spring and Summer.
I've been wearing mine throughout Spring and the early Summer days, when it's not too hot outside. The sizing is great and you can probably fit multiple sizes, but I'd say stick to your normal size.
I love this top. I bought one for each of my daughters. They love it too. It is the softest cotton. I am a senior senior and wear it as a tunic. It looks fabulous.

Love it, so I got it twice. It's so comfortable and the material gets softer the more often you wash it, which is something I love in clothing. Unfortunately some buttons came off very quickly and I'm terrible at sewing, so that's a bummer.
The poppy colour is stunning and such a statement piece though.

I liked the material, it's really lightweight and breathable, perfect for a cover-up at the beach or pool. The belt could be more secure. It tends to move around a lot when wearing it as a dress.

It’s very cute but i have an issue with it that i just cannot get over: it doesnt have belt loops!
I’m so confused why they would not add belt loops on an item that is supposed to be easy to throw on. I will 10000% lose the belt now at the beach at some point. I also love the cinching effect that the belt gives but it is too loose, without making a knot somewhere it just slides right out of the buckle. If those were fixed it would be a 5/5.
