Ace ‘em Pleated Skort - Black

I am 5'3 and weigh 144 pounds for reference.
The skort is flirty and sporty. I got a small which is too tight on me. I will have to get a medium next time. The skirt will give your butt a bigger butt look. Overall unique in that is shorter in the front and longer in the back.

You'll be high from all the compliments coming your way when you wear this skirt. Super cute, very functional, and the pockets are an absolute bop. 100% recommend.

I wish this skirt worked for my body type! The construction is amazing. You can feel that it's super high quality. The side seams of the pleats do limit some of the twirl-ability. My problem is that the skirt goes too high on my hips and the back of the skirt is a tad too long. On me it's just not very flattering.

I got it in XS, my usual Popflex size, but the waist band is too wide and the shorts don't fit as tight as usual (you can see on my pictures, I compared with the crisscross hourglass skort) I'm disppointed as this is not the first time I have this problem.. Since the size chart is supposed to correspond to all items, why making a different fit for each designs..😞 Please make a different size chart for each item🙏🏻 I feel like wasting my money honestly as I can't afford returning the item from abroad😭

I already own the pirouette Skort and loved the quality, fit and thoughtful design. When I saw the Ace 'en Skort I knew I had to have it. I was so exited when it shipped! Ordering from Europe it's always a hit or miss, as returns are basically impossible and customs and delivery fees really rack up the price. All in this skirt cost me almost 100 dollars.
But even not considering the additional fees, the price just doesn't feel right for the quality. The material feels like rough paper and doesn't fall in a flattering way. It's sticking and poking out, grating gaping pleats that should lie flat. In addition, during transit it got really badly crumpled and now some of the pleats aren't pleating the way they should, in particular a big one right in the front, which is now drawing attention to my crotch area. The seam, which is just an overlook seam also adds to the low quality impression - it looks unfinished and wasn't clearly visible in the product pictures.
The waistband is quite stiff and doesn't hug my waist, but rather just sits on it like a measuring tape.
The shorts under the skirt are still nice, but I'll probably not wear it due to all the other reasons given.
If I lived in the US I would probably return this piece.

Really upset with this purchase. I have bought many items with Popflex in the past (skorts, shorts, sweatshirts, pants...) and never had an issue.
I recently purchased this skort in Sugar, and it doesn't match the product description at all. The hemline doesn't line up like the picture indicates. And the bottom layer only comes about halfway, instead of fully to the other hip. I have the same pleated skort in black that I purchased last year and absolutely love it, and was exactly like the picture on the site. In my messages with customer care, I was told this is a "design intent" and it has "slightly changed" since my original black skort purchase. But if that's the case, the pictures online do not reflect these new changes, which is frustrating to say the least.

😕 I really wanted to leave 5 stars bc Popflex is amazing and I love their other stuff but the back of the skirt just does not fall right... I've tried ironing it, washing it multiple times, but I think the material is too stiff (which is great for twirl!) but not good for lying flat if you have a butt. This is also the correct size for me waist/hips wise so sizing up is not the solution. Overall the skirt is great quality and material, but it better for flatter butts. I might just cut of the skirt part off to simply wear the shorts so I can still enjoy it!

Absolutely adore this skort! The quality is amazing and the material feels really luxurious. The fit is perfect for me, I'm 5'8" and wearing XS (went off the size guide and I fit in pretty well). The pocket can indeed fit a water bottle!

Just got this in the mail today. The skirt is very cute, nice color, comfortable, true to size compared to the rest of their store.
I love popflex skirts in general. I think this skirt is cute and different for my closet, but overall I do like the pirouette skirt better if I could only choose one

I like the colour and the pleated skirt, very cute and flattering. The built-in shorts with pockets were great, too, however they do ride up; and this issue is the bane of my existence. The waist sat just below my bellybutton and I wish it was high-waisted. When I tried to pull the waist higher the shorts ride up too high and when I pull the shorts down the waist slides lower than I’d like. I feel a bit awkward wearing this. I’m 176cm (5’10) wearing XL, though I think I could have sized down.

I had my eye on this skirt for ages and did NOT regret the purchase. It's still one of my favorite things in my closet and comes with me on every vacation. Such a staple! The fit is perfect and I adore the extra length in the back. (I'm 5'6 and wearing size Large.)

5/5! Stunning color, awesome fit, true to the usual popflex M size. I HAD to style it like the photo and it looks so cool! 🤩 planning on getting this in all the colors available 🤭 tbth the only thing i would change is the elastic band because it low-key looks like those on men’s underwear, which makes it harder to dress up the skort, unless the band is not exposed. But honestly, it is a minor issue considering how amazing the skort fits, looks and most importantly TWIRLS! 🍄 so YES, 100% recommended

I was so excited for this to arrive since I already have the Twirl Skort. First thoughts - love the colour! I adore the shape of the skort where it's longer on the front and back. Pleats seam to hold up well - washed once in the washing machine, but in a delicate laundry bag. Stylish enough to wear outside the gym too. The shorts inside have deep pockets (of course!), however I am unable to use this for runs because my inner thighs go nom nom nom and the shorts ride up. However - would definitely use for weight training and going out. Love it!

This is my first skort purchase and went for medium because that's what I bought in the past for leggings and booty shorts. This was a tad too big. Not easi noticeable but I can side my finger under the waistband without tugging on it. I'm 5' 2" currently 133 lbs but my weight fluctuates between 128 and 133 lbs so I suspect it'll be worse. Moreover, these type of waistbands tend to stretch a little with use so I suspect this may have a similar issue. It'll be cute once it fits right. This is the third item I've purchased in my usual popflex size that runs big and it's always issues with the bottoms.
