I have gone through a few yoga mats for pilates, yoga, weight training, etc. and I gotta say nothing compares to this one!! It is in fact slip free, super comfortable and gives enough support to your back and knees. You can tell is good quality and it was made with care and actual issues (like slipping when sweating) in mind. Plus the design and colors are absolutely adorable. Great buy!!

I bought the Flourishing Foliage mat (to be specific, the earlier, shorter version) as a present to myself in December 2019. I bought the Moody Rainbow last year, but I haven’t had many chances to use it due to work/travel, so this is mainly a review of the former.
HOW I USED IT: For 3+ years, I used the Foliage mat daily for home workouts — Pop Pilates, HIIT, weighted workouts, and stretches — always without shoes, on a carpeted or wooden floor. I regularly fold it to create a cushion for the knees and hips, and I always fold it inward before rolling it up to keep the top clean when I’m done for the day (fold loosely in half, pattern on the inside, then roll it up from the middle fold).
CURRENT STATUS: After 5 years, the pattern is still just as vibrant, the sweaty grip still great, and the mat is fully intact, with no peeling or other aesthetic or structural damage. (There are just a few threads coming apart on the label, which is minor cosmetic wear and tear.) The strap is sturdy and super useful for stretches. The underside is very grippy on wooden floors. The colors/pattern are just as in the professional photos.
FYI, for long-term Popflex fans, the mat sizes changed over time. The newer mats are 4 5/8” (12cm) longer and 3/4” (1.8 cm) more narrow. The pics show the size difference between the older and newer mats. The new length is great. (Sorry for the weird lighting...)
ONE ISSUE: The Moody Rainbow’s top layer is peeling a little in one spot. I have tried clawing at the top layer of the Foliage mat and it doesn’t budge at all. Not sure if it’s a one-off defect or manufacturing problem. I’ll report back if there are other issues.
QUESTION: Is there a way to deep-clean the mat? Is it safe to soak it in a bathtub with gentle detergent and then air dry it perhaps? Will it retain its grippiness and structure? I wipe it and it doesn’t smell at all, but after so many years, I’d like to clean it properly and use it as long as possible. Tips appreciated!
I regret not getting the Lush Garden and Desert Sky mats before they sold out, though I love the Moody Rainbow so far. Looking forward to more unique, bright patterns from Popflex! Keep up the awesome work! :)

In terms of deep cleaning the mat, we recommend using a gentle detergent and a soft cloth to wipe it down. You can also soak it in a bathtub with gentle detergent and then air dry it, but please make sure to not use any harsh chemicals as it may affect the grip and structure of the mat.
