I bought these for running. I enjoy the super high waist and lining. The white is perfect for the last dregs of summer.

So these are really comfortable and having deep pockets is a game changer. It's been nice to wear these on hikes and have an easy space for my phone and keys. However, I'm really curvy and the poofy part is a bit too...poofy for me. On my body they just make my hips look even larger and it bunches up between my thighs so it's not very flattering on me. Just keep in mind they add a lot of volume to your hips.

I had a baby 7 months ago, and my “dunlop” belly is still pretty big. I wanted to love these shorts, since I started jogging again, but they looked way to weird on me. The top layer pulled up way too high, gave me a huge camel toe and accentuated my big belly. Maybe the low rise shorts would’ve been better, but the largest size is XL. Definitely returning for another pair of crisscross shorts instead.

I ordered the shorts in Forestwood color and love it! I've worn the shorts to walk, sprint, and lift weights at the gym. And so far they've been great for all of those activities. I am a true medium on the bottom (5'3 and 135 lbs for reference). Originally purchased them for tennis but the pockets are not the same buttery soft stretchy material as the skorts so it doesn't fit as many tennis balls in the pockets. I got compliments at the gym from other women bc they said they're always looking for shorts where the inner short is longer than the outer shorts so they don't have to worry when they squat or bend over at the gym. Definitely recommend!

I can't stop raving about these shorts to everyone in my life. I'm a little on the shorter side and the way the outer layer is cut is so flattering, really elongates my legs. The thick waistband is wonderful too, truly does feel like a hug! The inner shorts do ride up on me, although the outer layer hides it. It's a problem I have with all booty shorts, so I'm not taking any points off for that universal problem. I have noticed that when I put my phone in one side, it stays down. Maybe some kind of faux boning/structure to the inner shorts could help keep them down? Just a thought :)
