Just recieved my 3rd pair of these shorts, I am obsessed with them! I had the black, and then the Buttercream already, both in a size large. I always experienced a little issue with gapping in the waistband with my other pairs, which just overlooked the issue since the rest of the fit was fine. I decided to try a size Medium. I am 5'6, 170lbs, with a 30" waist and a 41" bum so Large is usually my Popflex size, but to my surprise the Medium waistband fit perfectly! Now...they are a little shorter and tighter in the thigh than the Larges, obvi. They feel a little more like a booty short once I get moving around, but I think that'll be okay.

I bought these shorts for a volleyball tournament to be on theme with our costume/outfits. I am a pear shape, with thick thighs and a caboose to spare. I bought a L, the waist band was very roomy and comfy, the shorts underneath fit well however they do roll and move, they are not thigh gobbler approved. They will settle but I did find myself tugging at them throughout the day to fix them. However they did not pinch and become restrictive at any point. This is the burden I know I must bear with my body shape and shorts. I DID RECEIVE A TON OF COMPLIMENTS ON THESE SHORTS. So to me they are still 5 stars, even with thick thigh problems, but definitely something to keep in mind for those that don't want to deal with it

I love these shorts! I bought a pair during their sale to try them out and was so glad I did! They are so comfortable and I feel super protected with the built in short. I also love how the side pocket holds my phone. It's really snug and I don't feel like it's falling out when I exercise.
