Faux Sherpa Cocoon Coat - Cool Grey

It's so comfy I wear it all the time!

I love this coat so much it makes me feel like a mob wife when I wear and it’s so comfy so warm and soooo soft!
Buttttt because of this - my cat has stolen it from me. She requires it to be on her bed now and will refuse to sleep on anything but this coat. I think she also likes how it makes her feel like a mob wife. She clearly has good taste and has started to figured out how to steal my clothes from me.
I’m seriously considering buying another one of these, but I’m pretty scared that the next one will also just be claimed by her and become one of her beds again and I’ll just have to keep leaving them out for her to sleep on. I just want one of my own!

Love how soft, and warm. I really like that the sleeves are tight enough so it stays above your wrist , or you can out thumbs in the holes if you’d like. Only thing that could be improved is the pockets. They’re kind of set further back than one would naturally reach for pockets. I have to kinda reach back a fair amount to get to them vs right at my sides or positions more towards the front. It’s not a deal breaker tho. Overall it’s like wearing a soft blanket which I love. All my popflex clothing is super good quality even the packaging feels nice. These items feel like they will last which I’m happy about because they’re more costly than I’d typically be willing to spend at a local store. I have followed Cassie since 2008 and am happy to be able to order her products and support her business! I attached pics of where a pocket usually is vs where this one is.

Updating my review of this jacket! Initially, I was unhappy with the pockets because they were so fluffy like the rest of the jacket that they puffed out the sides of the jacket funny but after wearing for some time now they seem to sit much better and flatter. I also had some issues with the material shedding at first but after lint rolling the inside and outside a few times this has stopped! Considering getting a second in a different color but smaller size.

I waited for the Black Friday sale to buy this as I read comments specifically for how this coat is for taller people. I usually wear a S/M in Popflex, but after reading the reviews, I sized up to a L/XL. I rarely need to buy larges as I am tall and slim but did it this time for length.

The coat itself is extremely cozy, and I love it. I got it in taupe. It is super soft on the inside and outside. I love the thumbholes. Pockets are kind of far back, but that's ok. The pockets are even soft on the inside as well. The clasp is ok, sturdier than I thought it would be based on other reviews. Hood is comfortable.

The length after getting a L/XL just barely covers my behind. I was hoping for more length, but again I understand I am taller and prefer longer jackets and coats.

I will most likely wear this more at home, but it is super comfy!

So on a Friday chili evening, I was looking forward to opening my new cocoon coat and relaxing in my clean bed and house. Well, when I opened the package, I was very disappointed because it left black fuzz and lint everywhere. I put it on top of my bed to try it on and it left my ivory linens, so dirty looking.. I had to vacuum again get the lint roller and it totally ruined my cozy vibe. Hours later I can still feel the buzz up my nose there is still fuzz downstairs where I brought it in. I am very disappointed. This has never happened with any of my UGG or Apparis faux sherpa. it was very poor quality and marketing is what made me buy this. They marketed it very good making it look so cozy and comfortable and you cannot return it if you wash it. I thought about trying to wash it first but I’m glad I didn’t because it says you cannot return it if it’s been washed or taken the tags off. Sadly, this goes back. It really put a damper in my evening and I’m sure glad that I did not invite anyone over to watch Movies because I would be so embarrassed to see this fuzz everywhere.. I didn’t even take time to try it on because I didn’t want it flying even more than it already did. The owner really needs to upgrade the quality of faux Sherpa ASAP.
