Mermaid Mesh Coverup Dress - Black

I feel so beautiful in this cover up. I have always wanted a cover up that makes me feel comfortable whether I am wet or dry.

I also danced in it. Absolutely perfect!

I repeatedly eyed this dress, but didn't order thinking I wouldn't get enough wear out of it in the Midwest. Yet I kept returning to it. With a promo, I finally pulled the trigger. I took it to a beach wedding week & Oh.MY.GAWD I could not have felt more beautiful. Girls were stopping, asking "WHERE did you find this!?". I'm 53 years old and the 20-30 somethings were wanting to know. In addition to being a simply beautiful statement piece, the mesh is buttery soft and gloriously stretchy. I was concerned about snags or runs, but had no issues at all. I'm 5'7', 140lbs and go between a S or M in Popflex. For this I chose M because I didn't want any cling or tug across the torso & wanted that extra little bit of length. It fit exactly as I had hoped & went to the ground with bare feet or sandals. The dress provides good sun coverage & I also felt completely comfortable in beach bars or outdoor restaurants. I adore the rich color of the teal/Dark Sea that I got. I might be a greedy girl and go for the lavender as well with my Flexpoints. This dress has been my most unexpected love with Popflex. Phenomenal design Cassie.

I’m 5’ around 108lb when the picture was taken. Ordered XS/Regular. The shoulder side is a bit tight, and the waist is on the loose side. The length is so perfect, as long as possible yet just not touching the floor 👍🏼. Thanks so much to design this gorgeous piece! And hopefully you could make a dress like this in the future.

This dress is actually perfect, I wore it on vacation to Mexico and got sooooo many compliments! It's flattering, comfortable, well made. I sometimes put a body suit under it too to wear as a "normal" dress.

Wow, this cover-up does not disappoint! The bottom of the dress really is soooooo beautiful and elegant. I wasn't sure which length to pick, I ended up going with the "Petite" (I am 5 foot 3) and I like this length a lot. A "Regular" would have worked as well for a full-length look. I kinda wish I had sized down to an XS, I thought it would be a little bit more fitted to my body, it's a little too loose for my preference (not as flattering), but it's a bit hard to tell how it should fit looking at the models and I am guessing it is supposed to be this way (a little loose), so I'd recommend sizing down if you want a fitted look, but otherwise it's true to size (for example, it fits great at the shoulders) if you don't want it to be too fitted. It's definitely very comfortable and lightweight. The cover-up is super flowy, and for a mesh fabric it's pretty soft. I'm not sure if I will alter it at the waist or not, but nonetheless I love this piece, it's beautiful and well made! I cannot wait to see the (opaque) dress version of this! :D (If it ends up being released.)

Ordered a petite Medium due to being very short 😅....4'11'', 123 lbs.

I’m so glad I got this before my solo trip to Spain. Postage to the UK was speedy. It helped keep the sun off my shoulders after I’d been baking a little too long, not only this, it looked so elegant and flattering on! The material is stronger than it looks and the design is so gorgeous. I need to get it in white now and book more holidays for an excuse to wear it!

I bought this for my holiday to Mykonos and it did not disappoint. I love this dress it fits so well and feels great. Postage to the UK very quick arrived in around 7 days!

As much as I absolutely love this cover up AND planned to wear it for other purposes beyond summer, it ripped within two wears, both of which were simple trips to the local pool. I’m so bummed! It really is beautiful but it shouldn’t rip so easily at that price point.

I liked this on the website but unfortunately when it got here, it didn’t flatter me. I tried sizing down, but it was still too big in the waist and the mermaid skirt didn’t have as much movement as I was expecting.

I’m not joking when I say that this coverup makes me feel like a million dollars. It is high quality and BEAUTIFUL! The mesh is thin but not fragile and I don’t feel like it’s going to snag on things. I usually say away from form fitting things (I have a tummy - which is normal!!) but this flows around my body in the best way. I am 5’3” and usually a L/XL/size 10/12 and ordered a petite large. Thank you Casey and Popflex team for this amazing coverup!!

This is the CUTEST coverup I own! The mesh material is so soft and flowy, but still manages to be super durable/snag resistant and has a great weight to it! I’m 5’4 and it hits perfectly at my lower ankle. I’m so glad I no longer have to worry about tripping over my coverup when I walk. The side slit is the perfect little flirty peekaboo moment, and the ruching above it is such a cute touch! I’ll be living in this all Summer! #tryoncrew wearing XL

Is this the best cover-up ever made? Yes, yes it is.
The fabric is a luxe mesh (not the fast-fashion stuff that doesn't breath) and it drapes beautifully. The only negative is that it doesn't come in more colors.

I feel beautiful in this dress, both as a coverup over a swimsuit or as a layering piece for a night out. The finishing of this dress is very neat, and the fabric is comfortable. If you are in between sizes and you like a more figure-hugging look, go with the smaller size. There is plenty of stretch, so it does not feel too tight. I also really appreciate the length sizes. The tall version (I'm 5'9") falls perfectly just above the ground as in the pictures.
