    Materials + Care

    1. Use a gentle, bleach-free household disinfectant wipe to wipe down your mat after each use to kill germs and bacteria. Allow your mat to air dry before rolling it back up.
    2. Create an aromatic DIY mat cleaning spray by grabbing a small 2-4 oz spray bottle and filling it 3/4 of the way with water and 1/4 of the way with white vinegar. Then add 2 drops of tea tree essential oil and 1 drop of lavender essential oil. Mix, then spray it on your mat, and wipe down with a towel! Let your mat air dry before rolling it back up.

    Very cute and functional

I love this mat! Not only is it pretty, it’s soft and keeps my hands and feet from slipping whether I am sweating or not.
I’m definitely going to buy another one. This is my first Popflex mat, and this one is my new favorite of the all of the mats I own.

    Peeling already

I was so stoked when this mat finally came back in stock last June or July but now I see that after just one year and a few months of owning it the suede is peeling off. I don’t use this mat every day (I have a rotation of 3) so this just seems really gnarly and I’m disappointed.

    Changed my life

No joke, this mat is game changing. The non-slip part really made it easier for me to workout. She's also very cute and makes me want to workout. I do wish it was a bit longer, but those are just details. I really would recommend getting it.
And the yoga mat holder doubles as a stretch band, I always use it when I need extra help stretching my legs.

    Sooo pretty!

The material is very high quality and such good grip! (I have very sweaty hands btw!) the pattern is absolutely stunning 🤩 the strap is so convenient and the mat is very lightweight

One year of wear: beautiful and delicate, not a performance mat

After one year of daily use for yoga, and two months in storage, here are my thoughts on the vegan suede yoga mat.

    Pros:
    - Gorgeous in pictures and when perfectly clean.
    - Soft
    - Lightweight
    - Does grip well when your hands are already sweaty

    Cons
    - Hair, lint etc. attracts, sticks and shows thanks to the light color.
    - Flimsy and delicate. I made the mistake of putting it in storage for two months with something resting on top of it, which resulted in the creasing you see here. Never would have happened with my less pretty but much more sturdy Gaiam yoga mat. So now, the vegan suede yoga mat has lost a lot of its best quality, which was its looks.
    - If your hands are perfectly dry, the grip is very bad -- it's even impossible to do yoga poses safely, because of how much you will slip. I should wet my hands before working out, and then hope I start sweating at some point? How illogical. Having to worry about slipping on my mat not only distracts me from being able to focus on my practice, it's actually unsafe. You can't get into challenging yoga poses if you might slip; you could injure yourself. You might say if I'm doing a peak pose I should already be warmed up and thus sweating, but this is not true. Everyone sweats at different rates. Your hands don't always sweat when you do yoga. What if I live somewhere cold?

Beautiful mat, but too much like a piece of art and not enough like workout equipment.
